Chicken wings are a special food loved by many. Whether you’re having a party or just craving for a delicious snack, this recipe will show you how to make mouthwatering chicken wings, when you do not have an oven, I assure that you will make a tasty snack ever cook. All you need are just some simple ingredients and a stove top. So get ready to impress your friends and family with these irresistible chicken wings.

Ingredients for Chicken wings:

  • 500 gms of chicken wings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Your favorite dipping sauce (optional)

Instructions for without OVEN:

Prepare the Chicken Wings:

  • Start with rinsing the chicken wings under cold water and dry them with paper towels, then cut the excess fat or skin from the wings, if necessary.
  • If the wings are whole then separate the wings into flats and drumettes by the help of a sharp knife.
Rinsing the Chicken

Season the Wings:

  • Now in a large mixing bowl, take the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder, combine everything and mix well to make the seasonings are distribute evenly.
  • Take the chicken wings and toss them in the seasoned flour till they are fully coated with the premix seasoning and dust off the wings to remove excess flour.
Ingredients

Heat the Oil:

  • Pour vegetable oil into a large pan, or pot till it’s about 1 inch deep or as per the size of pot.
  • Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches required heat or 350°F (180°C), and you can test the oil by dropping a small piece of bread or a pinch of flour into the oil, if the oil sizzles and turn brown quickly then the oil is ready.

Fry the Wings:

  • Carefully start add the coated chicken wings to the hot oil, but make sure the oil is not to overcrowd by the chicken wings. You need to fry the wings in batches so you can get best result.
  • Fry the batches of wings for about 10-12 minutes, and turning them occasionally with tongs to make sure they cook evenly.
  • When the chicken wings are turn golden brown and crispy on the outside and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), the wings are done.

Drain and Rest:

  • Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a rack or a plate with paper towels by using a tongs to drain excess oil.
  • After that let the wings rest for a few minutes before serving. The resting process allows the juices to redistribute, gives us a juicier wings in result.

In Oven:

1. Prepare the Chicken Wings:

  • Start with preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F), then line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • Now dry chicken wings with paper towels to remove excess moisture from it.
  • In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and Cayenne Pepper, sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken wings and toss the wings until they coated evenly.

2. Coat the Wings:

  • In a separate bowl, mix baking powder with the seasoned chicken wings till they are well coated.
  • The baking powder helps to create a crispy exterior when baked.

3. Bake the Wings:

  • Now take a single layer on the wire rack and arrange the coated chicken wings on it.
  • Start bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, flipping them halfway through, till the wings are turns golden brown color and crispy.

4. Make the Sauce:

  • While the wings are baking, let’s prepare the sauce, in a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes until it start leaves fragrant.
  • Stir in barbecue sauce, honey, and soy sauce, and let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes, stir it occasionally, until the sauce turns slightly thick.

5. Coat the Wings in Sauce:

  • Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bow, and pour the prepared sauce over the wings and then toss them till they are evenly coated.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Transfer the chicken wings to a serving platter and serve them hot.
  • You can serve the wings as they are or with your favorite dipping sauce on the side. Popular choices include barbecue sauce, ranch dressing, or honey mustard.
