  • 1/2 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrot, finely chopped

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce (adjust according to your spice preference)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the chicken:

  • Wash the boneless chicken thoroughly under cold water and dry with paper towels or kitchen towel.
  • Shredded the chicken or chop finely the chicken into small pieces or required size and set aside.

  • Chop finely the garlic, ginger, green chilies, onion, cabbage, carrot, capsicum, and spring onions.

  • Take a large deep pot or saucepan and heat oil in over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic, ginger, spring onions, and green chilies and saute for a minute until they leaves fragrance and turn light golden color, and then add the finely chopped onions and saute until they turn translucent.
  • Now, add the chopped chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer leaves their original color and saute it till the chicken will cook 30%, then add the chopped vegetables – cabbage, carrot, capsicum, salt, and stir-fry for a few minutes till everything are slightly softened.
  • Now pour in the chicken stock or water and bring it to a boil, once the soup starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Then add soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, black pepper powder to the Chicken Manchow Soup, and mix well and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

  • In a small bowl, take cornflour with water and mix till it becomes a smooth paste.
