Rice Recipe, Prime in many cultures in the whole world,it is playing an important role in shaping various dishes. Today I will make some different type of rice recipe you should try at your home.
- Normal Rice
- Jeera Rice(Cumin Rice)
- Lemon Rice
- Veg Pulao
Normal Rice Recipe:
- Take 250 gm of White Rice(as per your preferences), rinse it until water got clean.
- Soak it into water for 20/25 mins
- Take a Pot and pour water double of the rice, let it heat till water didn’t boil then drain the rice from water add add into the hot water.
- Let it boil for 15 mins, the rice will be cooked perfectly then drain it.
- Serve this rice recipe hot with different type of daal(lentils) , vegetable dishes
Jeera Rice(Cumin Rice):
Jeera Rice Recipe(Cumin Rice) is one of the most having dishes and it is the most popular delicacies of rice, it can be made in few steps, just follow my steps I’ll give you most simple and tasty way to make Jeera Rice(Cumin Rice)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 teaspoonful Cumin Seed
- 2 bay leafs
- 2 cardamom,3 cloves, 1 inch cinnamon
- 3 cup water or as per your rice consistency
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Fresh coriander
- Salt as per taste
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice (optional)
Step Of Making Jeera Rice Recipe(Cumin Rice)
- Take bowl , wash the rice and soak it for 15-20 mins,Soak the Rice in cold/normal temperature water.
- Take a pressure cooker heat oil in it, add bay leafs,cardamom,cloves,cinnamon, and jeera (cumin) and let everything splutter lightly then add drain rice into the pressure cooker, add salt, stir and mix everything, Then add water ,stir it once ,then give it 2-3 whistle and release air from pressure cooker.
- Garnish the Rice with fresh coriander
- Serve it with any kind of vegetables like daal, paneer recipe etc..
- If you don’t want to make it with pressure cooker then take a deep pan and repeat the process( leave the whistle part) cover the pan ,cook it for 15-20 min in low flame let Rice observe the water, then you can add lemon juice and coriander leafs and serve this rice recipe hot.
Lemon Rice:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Turmeric powder
- Coriander leafs
- 1 tablespoon mix of mustard seeds,cumin seeds,chana dal,urad dal
- 2 dried red chilies
- Some roasted peanuts
- Curry leafs
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice (according to your taste)
- Salt
Making of Lemon Rice Recipe
- Repeat my 1st recipe Normal Rice Recipe at top
- Take a frying pan ,heat the oil add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,chana dal,urad dal ,dried red chilies let them splutter, add curry leafs and then put roasted peanuts (you can add cashew)saute it.
- Add Salt ,turmeric powder, lemon juice mix everything then add the boiled rice and stir gently so that the rice does not break.
- Garnish with chopped Coriander and some roasted peanuts
- You can eat it normal and also with vegetables.
Veg Pulao:
Ingredient:
- 1 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 carrot cube cut
- 5 beans cube cut
- Green peas
- Capsicum
- 1/4 cup spring onions
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cardamom
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 3 clove ,black peppers
- 2 star anise
- cashew and raisins
- Salt
Process of Making Veg Pulao:
- Make Normal Rice recipe
- Take a pan heat oil add cardamom,clove ,black peppers,star anise,cardamom and let them splutter add cashew and raisins.
- Add vegetables carrot, beans,Green peas,capsicum and saute it till the vegetables add salt got cooked 60-70 %
- Then Add the boiled rice and add salt if needed then serve it with Manchurian or other vegetable dishes.
You can make it with pressure cooker
- Wash and soak the rice in water
- Heat oil in pressure cooker add cardamom,clove ,black peppers,star anise,cardamom and let them splutter add cashew and raisins.
- Add vegetables carrot, beans,Green peas,capsicum and saute it till the vegetables add salt.
- Drain the Rice ,mix it with the spices and give it 2-3 whistles and release air from pressure cooker.
- Now the Veg Pulao is ready to serve.
